I Love Fast Computers!

Ever since I upgraded my ram to 2GB on my computer, it’s been absolutely amazing!! I spend a lot of time playing games on the computer, so now it’s even faster for loading and doesn’t lag anymore either!!

Of course it came with a price…ya…nearly $200 in total after shipping and then having to pay at customs too. Darn customs always making money!!

Oh well…I’m going to go enjoy the fastness of my computer and play one of my favourite computer games which is The Sims 2. Ciao!!

Wireless signal from laptop to printer?

I was in one of my favourite stores the other day to pick up something I ordered, but then my sister ushered me to some wire section. I saw a bunch of different ones such as CAT5e, USB connectors, and even what she was looking for - a printer to laptop wire.

It was $30 to buy, so I didn’t end up getting it for her because that’s not why I was there in the first place. However, isn’t it possible to get some kind of wireless network going to your printer which allows you to print when your laptop is in range?

I think I saw that in a movie but I’m not sure if it’s possible in real life. Anyone know?c

I love Future Shop!

Everyone has a favourite store. My has to be Future Shop. Yes, in case you don’t recognize the name, it’s a Canadian electronics store.

Future Shop is where I go to when I need to buy games, videos, music, electronics, cameras, flat panel televisions, ink cartridges, blank cds, and other goodies. They have everything I need for entertainment. I guess you can say they are similar to Best Buy in the states.

The only thing sucky right now with Future Shop is that they no longer have free shipping in Canada. I was a big buyer online and now I’m not because it’s stupid how they changed it for people to pay shipping. I guess I’ll just drive the whole three minutes away to the Future Shop close to my house whenever I need something.

But still…I like it when it came to the door. LOL!

Flash drives are great!

The one thing I can’t live without is my flash drive. I have it hooked up to my keychain and use it pretty much daily. I use it for a variety of things such as saving homework, transferring files between computers, and just saving other things I find on the web.

They are small, portable, and just overall great. I seriously don’t know anyone who doesn’t have a flash drive in today’s society. It’s really the best thing ever! It beats saving things on floppy drives. LOL!
