Merry Christmas!

If you are Canadian, then you know that we are going to have major sales starting next week because of boxing day. I personally can’t wait!!
Even though the malls are super busy with everyone looking for a bargain, I still love it and am planning to do my fair share of shopping too. I usually hit the electronics section first, then clothes, and then the shoes. Who knows, I might find some awesome new sexy boots this year.
I need a new pair of boots badly because I usually just end up wearing my father’s boots whenever I go out in the snow. Yup…it’s time to get my own pair. LOL!
As I was mentioning in my previous post about changes in 2008, many people will make their new years resolution as becoming more healthy and losing weight.
Not only will they need to exercise and use machines like an exercise bike, gazelle glider, or even a treadmill, but they will also have to watch their diet. Nutrition is very important because as the saying goes, “You are what you eat.”
So what’s your new year’s resolution?
The new year is coming up really soon. What are your resolutions? Are there any big changes going to happen?
From getting these answers from people close to me, it seems that 1 out of 3 are planning on moving. Isn’t that crazy?? I couldn’t believe it but many people I know are set on making this change in 2008.
Just look at my family. My older sister has already purchased her own house and is moving into it in the new year. Then there’s my younger sister who is planning on moving to an apartment closer to home.
Of course many people end up hiring trucks from moving companies. If you are from NY, you might want to see if this New York Moving Company is right for your move!
I’m sure my sisters won’t be hiring moving trucks, simply because we have a huge van that can easily move things to and from home. That’s what will probably happen for us.
As I mentioned probably a million times across all my blogs, my older sister got engaged not too long. Everyone in my family is already looking for the dresses and clothing that we’ll wear when that special day comes next year.
My dad even bought gold cufflinks ahead of time for his suit. They are gorgeous!! I can picture the day now with everything running smoothly. Oh ya, did I mention my sister is having my dog as part of the bridal party? LOL! It’s going to be hilarious!!
She gets to walk up the aisle too next to the ring bearers and flower girls. I can’t wait to see it unfold!!
Have you ever lived in a house or apartment that had carpets? My old house has carpet. I like carpet, but I’m allergic to the dust it collects. My parents always had to have vacuum cleaners around the house and honestly cleaned everyday. That’s how bad my allergies were.
The house we live in now doesn’t have any carpets. You obviously know why. The problem is that I actually like having carpet floors. I think it’s great for children and I remember my dog having a blast playing at the old house. Now she can’t run like a crazy person because we have tiles or hardware floor in our house now. I guess she still can but it’s not the same as running around on carpet.
If you think you are, then take the quiz. My results are below.
score: 94%
Your Internet usage is causing significant problems in your life. You should evaluate the impact of the Internet on your life and address the problems directly caused by your Internet usage.
Yup…they are dead on. Sadly, I am addicted and I KNOW I am. Come on…who spends 24hrs surfing the web? *cough*…I have. Usually on a weekday I have nothing to do, but really…how sad is that? Ughh…I need more hobbies and should hit the bar scene asap!!
I actually love getting tanked even though that has happened a few times in my life. This sounds weird…but I love that feeling you get when you can’t remember anything that happened the night before. Like I said, weird…I know…but man…it’s such a rush.
Time to call up some friends to see what their plans are this weekend. Cheers!
